This page explains what we collect when you use malicutz.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
- When you book: your name, phone number, email, any note you add, and the service and time you choose.
- We don’t ask for payment details online. You pay at the shop.
How we use it
- To hold your appointment and keep you posted about it: a confirmation email, a reminder before your appointment, and an email if the time changes or it’s cancelled. We may also call or text you if something changes.
- We don’t send marketing emails, and we don’t sell or rent your details to anyone.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare runs the website and stores booking records. It may keep short-term technical logs of visits, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site.
- Resend sends our emails, so it receives your email address and your appointment details.
- Google: the map on the home page comes from Google Maps, so Google can see your visit to that page, such as your IP address, and may set its own cookies. The Get directions button opens Google Maps.
- The barber’s calendar: if we sync appointments to our phone’s calendar, your name, phone number and service show there.
Cookies and storage
- One cookie remembers your language, English or Arabic.
- While you book, what you’ve typed is saved in that browser tab for up to 30 minutes so you don’t lose it. It’s cleared once you’ve booked.
- There are no advertising or analytics trackers. We don’t track you across other websites, so your browser’s Do Not Track setting doesn’t change anything here.
Your private booking link
The link in your confirmation email lets anyone who has it view, change or cancel your appointment. Keep it to yourself.
Seeing, correcting or removing your details
We keep booking records so we have a history of appointments. To see, correct or remove your details, call or text (312) 312-1678, or ask us at the shop.
Children
Parents or guardians book kids’ haircuts. The site isn’t meant for children to use on their own.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
